Faithfully serving in South Africa

Dear Co-laborers,
It has been an exciting 6 weeks, if something could go wrong it went wrong. Household appliances, lawnmower, weed eater, vans, Pam’s health and to top it off my support was 20% short, but God is still in control and able to work all things for our good. All I have to do is look at my congregation and see how fortunate I am.
The last two weeks we have had 7 young people, and 1 adult surrendered to full time Christian service. We had 3 saved in our services this past Sunday.
There were two separate incidents where two people died in attempted car jacking. One was in a church parking lot, needless to say some of the parents of our van riders were scared to let their children come but let them after some assurance. I think it might have been a gang initiation because the two murders were so close together and they did not get either car! If that isn’t bad enough the monkeys are even attacking people in their gardens!
We have not had any early morning visitors (thieves) at our house for the past month; which is good, thank you for your prayers in that regard.
Our younger youth are learning the Gospel hand and our older youth the Wordless Bracelet as a means of sharing the Gospel it is going well and we will end it with a Gospel blitz through town.
My furlough next year: September-December, I need your help in planning, I have churches from Maine to Oregon to Arizona to
Florida
and in-between. The first church in that region that responds determines when I will be in that area! My furlough is a logistical nightmare and very hard on the body, please if you want to see me let me know quickly, Pam and the girls will join me in December during our school break. If you could help me in getting into a church in your area it would be a blessing!
Sincerely,
THE MYERS FAMILY
