G.R.O.W. - God Rewards Our Work

Our G.R.O.W. outreach ministry is one of the most rewarding opportunities at AIBC. G.R.O.W. stands for "God Rewards Our Work." This outreach tool is helping us  reach out to the Huntingdon community and the surrounding communities in Cambridgeshire. G.R.O.W. meets on the 1st & 3rd Sunday afternoon from 4:00-5:00 for outreach via letters, calls, visits, or however you feel comfortable serving.

The five principles of G.R.O.W. are as follows:

• Sowing and Reaping: God's principle of the harvest; if you do not sow, you do not reap.

• Involving every member: Everyone can write a letter, make a phone call, or make a visit.

• Having fun with outreach.

• Making quality time greater than quantity time.

• Reaching out by divine appointment: If we just say yes, God has the opportunity ready and waiting for us. God is always working, are we?

This is a unique outreach program that requires only 12-15 hours a year!! Are you up for the challenge? If so, there are three basic qualifications for a G.R.O.W. participant at AIBC:

1. YOU MUST BE A CHRISTIAN!!

2. Commit to being present at G.R.O.W. 12 times a year!

3. You must be correctly motivated: You should desire to see AIBC grow, but love for the Savior and those without Christ should be the primary motivation for each G.R.O.W. participant!!

Thus far, this has truly been an exciting experience at AIBC. It's not about the numbers we get in our books, but it is about the numbers in God's "book"! Be a part of "The Great Commission" (Matthew 28:19-20); see what happens when a church is active in God's plan.
